EyeEco Quartz Hydrating Sleep Mask (Clear)
EyeEco Quartz Hydrating Sleep Mask (Clear)
$119.00
Wake up with hydrated, comfortable eyes.
A soft, medical-grade silicone sleep mask that creates a humid microclimate around your eyes overnight, helping prevent the tear film evaporation behind gritty, irritated mornings. Lightweight and low-profile with an adjustable microfibre head wrap — the better-fitting choice for smaller or narrower faces, and comfortable alongside a full CPAP mask.
Not sure whether the Quartz or EyeSeals 4.0 suits you best? Ask our team — we’re happy to help you find the right fit.
This mask is designed solely to support eye comfort during rest or sleep. It is not intended for use as protective eyewear.
As this is a hygiene product that comes into direct contact with the eyes, it cannot be returned or exchanged once purchased, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Flexible Shipping Options for You:
If you’re managing dry eye, waking up with gritty, irritated eyes is often the worst part of the day, and it usually starts overnight. The Quartz Hydrating Sleep Mask creates a moisture-rich barrier around your eyes while you sleep, helping to prevent the tear film evaporation that leaves you starting each morning behind.
How it works
Made from soft, medical-grade silicone, the Quartz mask sits gently inside the orbital bones and forms a seal that shelters your eyes from draughts and low-humidity air. As you sleep, the mask naturally fogs up, creating a humid microclimate that keeps your eyes, eyelids and surrounding skin hydrated through the night. There’s no foam, no bulk and no pressure on the eyes.
The mask is finished with an adjustable microfibre head wrap, so you can fine-tune the fit for a secure, comfortable seal without it feeling tight.
Who it may suit
- Aqueous-deficient dry eye
- Nocturnal lagophthalmos (eyes that don’t fully close during sleep)
- Dry eye associated with CPAP or BiPAP air leaks
- Compromised eyelid seal or floppy eyelid syndrome
- Smaller or narrower face shapes
- Air travel, where cabin air is especially drying
The clear design means you retain some visibility if you need to get up during the night, and it’s a comfortable option to wear alongside a full CPAP mask.
Quartz or EyeSeals 4.0?
The Quartz is our lighter, more compact sleep mask and typically fits smaller or narrower faces best. EyeSeals 4.0 ($129) creates a stronger sealed environment with a vaulted design that keeps lashes clear — usually the better choice for larger faces, most men, and moderate to severe dry eye. Not sure which will suit you? Ask our team — we fit these masks in practice every week.
Fit note
This mask is designed for an average-to-small adult face shape rather than being one-size-fits-all. If you have a particularly small or narrow face, this is often the better-fitting option in our sleep mask range. Ask our team for guidance if you’re unsure which style will suit you.

FAQS
- Wash your hands before handling the mask.
- Position the mask over closed eyes
- Adjust the strap so it’s snug but not tight. You should feel the seal without any pinching pressure.
- Sleep as normal. Most people adjust to the feel within 2-3 nights.
- Remove gently in the morning. Eyes should feel less dry than your usual baseline.
- Clean the mask every few days with mild soap and water. Air dry. Don’t put in dishwasher or microwave.
For best results:
- Use every night for at least 2 weeks before judging effectiveness
- Combine with morning hot compresses (Sterileyes or similar) for a complete dry eye routine
- Don’t apply heavy creams or oils to the under-eye area before wearing — they can degrade the TPE seal over time
If your eyes are still dry on waking after 2-3 weeks of consistent use, book a dry eye consultation, there may be additional factors (meibomian gland dysfunction, lid hygiene issues, demodex) that need addressing alongside overnight moisture protection.
